Woman missing from Budgam, found in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 30 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered a woman, who had gone missing from central Kashmir district of Budgam on Tuesday morning, from the summer capital, Srinagar.
A police spokesperson said that Police Station Beerwah on Tuesday received an application from one Mohammad Rafiq Bhat that his sister (name withheld) was missing since early morning from their residence at Chewah Beerwah in Budgam.
He said a case was registered and investigation was taken up. “After strenuous efforts and with the assistance of Police Station Rainawari and family members, the woman was recovered within 12 hours of lodging of the report from Makhdoom Sahib Shrine in Srinagar,” he said.
