Woman injured in Imphal blast

Imphal, Jan 15 (UNI) A woman was injured in a bomb blast in the heart of the city today around 1800 hours.
Police said a powerful bomb blasted near the wall of the Johnstone school near the main gate of Kangla injuring a woman who was cleaning the main road. The woman was rushed to Rajmedicity for treatment.
The impact was felt in the main market creating fear and havoc in the busy market area. People ran for safety and a police team rushed in to investigate into the area. The area was cordoned off and people who were in the vicinity were also rounded up for interrogation.
