Shinde says govt stands firmly with farmers amid crop damage, dry spells

Kolhapur/Satara, Sept 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday remarked that opposition leaders get a "stomach ache" whether he visits his village, Delhi or London, joking that they might need medicine such as "Jamalgota" for it. Shinde reached his native Daregaon village in Satara district on Friday for a two-day visit to participate in the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
