23 Ambulances deployed across Pune during Ganeshotsav, 1,798 devotees treated on-site

Pune, Sep 27 ( UNI) As many as 23 ambulances were deployed across Pune city and key Ashtavinayak pilgrimage centres during Ganeshotsav 2026, providing round-the-clock emergency medical assistance to devotees, with 1,798 patients treated on-site between September 14 and 26. Of those treated, 167 patients were referred to hospitals for further medical attention, according to a release issued on Saturday. The 108 Ambulance Service stationed 18 ambulances at strategic locations across Pune city, while five were deployed at the Ashtavinayak temples of Theur, Morgaon, Lenyadri, Ozar and Ranjangaon, with one ambulance at each location.
