Over 22,000 police personnel to be deployed across Mumbai for Ganpati immersion

Mumbai, Sep 23 (UNI) More than 22,000 police personnel will be deployed across Mumbai to maintain law and order and ensure the smooth conduct of Ganpati idol immersion processions, police said on Wednesday. The city police have made elaborate security and traffic arrangements in view of the large number of devotees expected to participate in the immersion processions at various locations across Mumbai. As part of the security arrangements, the Mumbai Police will make extensive use of technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), for route management and monitoring traffic-related developments.
