Pluck and Pay festival showcases Mizoram's farm produce & green tourism

Aizawl, Sep 23 (UNI) Mizoram's first "Pluck and Pay Festival" began on Wednesday, bringing together farm produce, rural tourism and local cultural attractions in Khawzawl district. Organised jointly by the Tourism Department and the Khawzawl Deputy Commissioner's office, the three-day festival is being held at Chawngtlai and Tualte from September 23 to 25. Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar, who attended the opening programme at Vanhnuailiana Hall in Tualte, said the festival was aimed at showcasing Mizoram's natural beauty and agricultural wealth.
