Akasa, Alliance Air urged to boost Arunachal flight services

Itanagar, Sep 23 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Civil Aviation Minister Balo Raja has urged Akasa Air and Alliance Air to strengthen air connectivity to the state and adjoining districts of Assam by introducing and realigning direct flight services. In separate demi-official letters to the CEOs of the two airlines, Raja requested Akasa Air to explore a direct Itanagar-Kolkata service with onward connectivity to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and other major destinations.
