Haryana Information Commission curbs repetitive RTI cases, orders affidavits to prevent duplicate filings

Panchkula, Sept 23 (UNI) The Haryana State Information Commission has ruled that the statutory right to information does not confer an unrestricted right to initiate repetitive proceedings on the same cause of action, while directing a Palwal applicant to submit affidavits declaring that he has not filed duplicate RTI applications, complaints or appeals on substantially identical issues.
