Rae Bareli (UP), April 26 (UNI) Four people were killed and four others injured when an SUV rammed into a culvert in Mill Area of Rae Bareli district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said on Friday.
Police sources said that the incident took place around 2:30 am when the SUV rammed into the culvert in Malin ka Purwa.
"The SUV passengers were returning to Lalganj after attending a marriage in Fursatganj at the time of the incident," they said.
Police sources said that Pankaj Pal (30), Raghvendra Yadav (50), Deepak Pal (28) and Awadhesh Pal (45) were killed in the accident.
"Four injured identified as Mukesh Pal (37), Ankush Pal (15), Babloo Pandey (50) and Pramod Kumar have been admitted to the district hospital," they said.
