TPC sub-zonal commander arrested in Ranchi

Ranchi, Aug 31 (UNI) A sub zonal commander of the Tritiya Prastuti Committee was arrested from Hutap Mode under Khelari Police Station area of this district.
Police sources said the arrested has been identified as Vishu Ganjhu alias Ashok Ji. Police said, during a routine vehicle checking drive, a man who was driving a bike without number plates was asked to stop. But upon seeing the police, he started to flee but was caught by the police men and was later identified as TPC sub zonal commander Vishu Ganju.
Police said, in 2004 he had joined TPC and has been working as an active member. He was elevated to the post sub-zonal commander of Budmu area in 2017 and was also responsible for recruitment youth in the outfit. The man use to collect levy from the traders and contractors in Keredari, Patratu and Budmu areas.
