TN CM, leaders pay tributes to Muthuramalinga Thevar on his 113th birth anniversary

Ramanathapuram, Oct 30 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Friday led the people of the state in paying floral tributes to freedom fighter and late leader of All India Forward Bloc, U. Muthuramalinga Thevar on his 113th birth anniversary.
As the day also happened to be the 58th “Guru puja” (death anniversary) of Muthuramalinga Thevar, Mr Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O Paneerselvam, accompanied by state Ministers C Vijaya Baskar, Sellur K Raju, R B Udhayakumar and R Kamaraj paid their homage by placing wreaths at the memorial at his native Pasumpon village in the district.
Leader of the Opposition and DMK president M K Stalin, along with senior party leaders, visited the memorial and paid their homage.
