Jharkhand: Two Hazaribagh athletes selected for U-17 camp

Hazaribagh, Sep 17 (UNI) Two athletes from Hazaribagh, Prithvi Oraon and Anokhi Kumari, have been selected for the national camp for the Under-17 School Athletics Championship scheduled to begin in Goa on October 5. The two athletes are preparing for the camp with the aim of securing selection for the international Under-17 School Athletics Championship to be held in Brazil in December. Prithvi Oraon, a resident of Gumla, has been training in long jump at the residential sports training centre in Hazaribagh for around three years.
