Bengal: Relief reaches Bhutni, but flood victims scramble for supplies

Malda, Sep 17 (UNI) The grim reality of the flood in Bhutni came into sharp focus on Thursday when flood victims in North Chandipur scrambled onto a relief boat and took away packets of food and other essential materials as soon as the boat reached the Moharil More area. The incident occurred even as the district administration maintained that relief distribution in Bhutni this year has been much higher than in previous years.
