Main accused in Panchkula nightclub firing held; Zigana pistol, eight cartridges recovered

Panchkula, Sep 17 (UNI) Haryana Police has arrested the alleged main accused in the Alif Laila Night Club firing case from Kharar in Punjab and recovered a Zigana pistol, eight live cartridges and an XUV 500 allegedly used in the crime, a spokesperson said on Thursday. The accused, identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Kaku of Ferozepur district in Punjab, was arrested by Panchkula Police Crime Branch-2, headed by Inspector Parveen Malik. Commissioner of Police Pankaj Nain said Gurpreet was allegedly the person who opened fire inside the Sector-11 nightclub. He was produced before a court, which remanded him in police…
