Assam allots four bighas for Lovlina academy at just Re 1

Guwahati, Oct 9 (UNI) Fresh from winning gold at the recently concluded Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, Lovlina Borgohain could soon have a boxing academy bearing her name in Assam, with the state Cabinet on Friday approving four bighas of land at a token premium of Re 1 for the proposed facility. The academy, to be set up under the Palasbari Revenue Circle near Guwahati, is expected to provide young boxers with access to quality training facilities and help Assam develop talent capable of competing at the national and international levels.
