Horiculture Minister sets February 28 deadline for completion of HPSHIVA works

Shimla, October 9 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi on Friday directed officials to complete all activities under the first phase of the HP SHIVA Project covering 3,000 hectares by February 28, 2027, warning of strict action against contractors and officials for missing the deadline. Chairing a review meeting here with officials from seven districts, Negi reviewed the progress of the Asian Development Bank-funded project being implemented in Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, Kangra, Solan, Sirmaur and Una. Officials informed the minister that around 2,700 hectares had been developed against the target of 3,000 hectares, while plantation had been completed…
