SpiceJet connects Hyderabad with Guwahati, Bangkok

Gurugram, Sep 19 (UNI) Private airline SpiceJet on Wednesday announced the launch of two new daily direct flights – from Hyderabad to Guwahati and Hyderabad to Bangkok – from October 10, this year.
The introductory promotional fare for Hyderabad-Bangkok would be Rs 10,001 and for Hyderabad-Guwahati Rs 4,286. The airline will deploy its Boeing aircraft on both the routes.
The announcement was made in the presence of Telangana Commerce and Industry Minister K T Rama Rao.
SpiceJet Chief Sales and Revenue Officer Shilpa Bhatia said, “We are delighted to launch our new flights from Hyderabad. Bangkok has always been one of the most preferred global destinations and the domestic addition reiterates our conviction in the potential of the north-eastern regions. We believe our consistent efforts to connect the regional markets will revolutionise air travel across the country offering convenience for business and leisure travelers alike.”

SpiceJet is the only Indian carrier to provide direct connectivity between Hyderabad and Bangkok. Earlier passengers from the city had to take a connecting flight from Delhi while traveling to Bangkok.
