P.K. Sreemathy says CPM has tradition of acting against women harassers, irrespective of rank

Kannur, Oct 7 (UNI) CPI(M) senior leader P.K. Sreemathy on Wednesday said the party had a tradition of taking action against those who harassed women, irrespective of their position or status. In a social media post, Sreemathy said the party had taken action against those who harassed girls and women, even when such persons occupied high positions. "If there are still people who have forgotten this, it can only be said that adversity has clouded their judgement," she said. Sreemathy's remarks came amid the controversy surrounding the removal of E.N. Suresh Babu from the post of CPI(M) Palakkad district secretary.…
