Vice-President attends Vishwa Seva Dinam celebrations at Amritapuri

Kollam, Sep 27 (UNI) Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan on Sunday attended the 'Vishwa Seva Dinam' celebrations organised at Amritapuri here to mark the 73rd birthday of spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi. Radhakrishnan offered a garland to Mata Amritanandamayi during the function. He also released the souvenir of the free housing project by handing over a copy to the Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan. Kerala Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar addressed the gathering at the celebrations. The Vice-President arrived in Thiruvananthapuram earlier in the day on a one-day visit to Kerala.
