Heavy demand for Rs 300 Tirumala darshan tickets; TTD says booking system functioning efficiently

Tirumala, Sep 26 (UNI) Intense demand for Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan tickets, with around six lakh users accessing the online booking platform simultaneously against a quota of approximately 2.69 lakh tickets, has resulted in popular slots being exhausted within a short time, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) said on Saturday. In a release, TTD clarified that its online booking system was functioning efficiently and was supported by technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, load balancing, auto-scaling and distributed architecture.
