DDA holds investors meet to advance in-situ rehabilitation of 17 lakh JJ cluster dwellers

New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has initiated consultations with private developers to advance its in-situ slum rehabilitation programme, which envisages rehabilitating approximately 17 lakh residents of Jhuggi-Jhopri (JJ) clusters under the Master Plan for Delhi-2047. The investors' meet, held following the directions of Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, brought together developers and other stakeholders to discuss a framework for implementing rehabilitation projects across the national capital.
