China launches new group of remote sensing satellites for conducting electromagnetic environment detection

Taiyuan, Sep 26 (UNI) China has launched a new group of remote sensing satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern province of Shanxi.

The satellites of the Yaogan-40 04 group, launched at 4:46 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Thursday aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket, have entered the preset orbits successfully.
They will be used to carry out electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests.
The launch marked the 670th mission of the Long March carrier rockets.
