Telangana DGP visits Khairatabad Ganesh, appeals for peaceful immersions

Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) Telangana Director General of Police C V Anand on Wednesday visited the Khairatabad Ganesh idol and offered prayers, wishing peace, prosperity and well-being for the people of the State. He appealed to devotees and organisers to ensure that the Ganesh immersion processions are conducted peacefully and safely. Recalling his long association with the Khairatabad Ganesh celebrations since his tenure as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Anand appreciated the festival committee members for their cooperation in ensuring peaceful immersions.
