Telangana: Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy demands removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) Bhongir Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday demanded the immediate removal of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, alleging that the Election Commission's functioning and the electoral roll revision process were undermining voters' rights. In a video statement, Reddy alleged that the BJP-led government had deliberately changed the process for appointing Election Commissioners by replacing the Chief Justice of India on the selection panel with a union Cabinet Minister.
