Hyd: Ganesh immersion peaceful; over 10,300 idols immersed so far: Sajjanar

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar on Friday evening said the Ganesh immersion procession was proceeding peacefully across the city, with more than 10,300 idols immersed so far. Talking to the media at the Command Control Centre here, Sajjanar said the Khairatabad Ganesh immersion had been completed, while the Balapur procession concluded about an hour ahead of schedule. Processions from the Old City, Rajendranagar and Golconda areas were also underway. He said around 14,850 idols had been geo-tagged and registered through police applications, of which approximately 10,300 had been immersed, leaving around 4,500 to be completed.…
