R Sreelekha resigns as Thiruvananthapuram Corporation councillor

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 3 (UNI) Former Kerala DGP and BJP councillor R Sreelekha has decided to resign from the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, citing personal reasons, but the resignation has not yet been formally submitted to the Corporation Secretary. Sreelekha, who represents the Sasthamangalam ward, handed over a resignation letter to Mayor V V Rajesh on September 30. She has informed residents of her ward about the decision and is expected to complete the formalities on October 5.
