Kerala moves to amend paddy land, wetland conservation law

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 1 (UNI) Kerala has initiated steps to amend the Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act and Rules, with a focus on simplifying procedures, adopting an industry-friendly approach and resolving public grievances. A high-level meeting to discuss the proposed amendments was held at the Land Revenue Commissionerate here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister A P Anil Kumar.
