Kerala plans 10-year master plan for road development

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 1 (UNI) Kerala has launched the process of preparing a 10-year master plan for road development, covering major junctions, flyovers, new bypasses, road widening and other infrastructure requirements. A special committee has been constituted to scientifically assess the existing road and bridge network, evaluate future traffic requirements and prepare a comprehensive, prioritised list of development projects, Public Works Department Minister P K Basheer has said.
