Madras HC asks cricketer Dhoni to file his reply to a plea on his Rs 100 cr defamatory suit linked to 2013 IPL scam

Chennai, Oct 9 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Friday has directed iconic cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni to file his response by October 29, a plea filed by reitred IPS Officer seeking appointment of a judicial officer to oversee the recording of his testimony in a Rs.100 crore defamation case plea filed by the former Indian captain linked to the 2013 IPL betting row. The reited IPS officer G.Sampath Kumar has filed three interlocutory applications in court on the recording of Dhoni's testimony by court-appointed Advocate Commissioner Jayashree.
