Telangana CM Revanth directs officials to expedite Tummidihetti, Dindi & Achampet projects

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday directed irrigation officials to prepare comprehensive proposals for the Tummidihetti barrage and expedite arrangements for the Dindi and Achampet lift irrigation schemes to strengthen irrigation and water security in Telangana. At a review meeting held at the Bodhi Pavilion, the Chief Minister instructed officials to prepare for discussions with the Maharashtra government on the Tummidihetti project. He said the Maharashtra Chief Minister had indicated willingness to hold talks after October 23.
