Odisha:Paradip Refinery conducts level-II mock drill to test emergency preparedness

Bhubaneswar, Oct 23 (UNI) IndianOil's Paradip Refinery conducted an odd-hour Level-II onsite disaster mock drill to assess its emergency response capabilities and preparedness to handle industrial emergencies. Conducted in line with the refinery's approved Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP), the exercise simulated a seal leak in the Delayed Coker Unit (DCU) Fractionator Reflux Pump, followed by a fire in the unit. Mutual Aid Industries also participated in the drill. Emergency response teams implemented the prescribed response and control measures in a coordinated manner, drawing appreciation from the authorities present.
