5,416 Janakeeya Arogya Kendrams functioning across Kerala: Minister

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 7 (UNI) As many as 5,416 Janakeeya Arogya Kendrams are currently functioning across Kerala, at the rate of one centre for every 5,000 population, Health and Devaswom Minister K Muraleedharan said on Wednesday. The government is taking steps to ensure that all Janakeeya Arogya Kendrams have their own buildings, while measures are also under way to strengthen the public healthcare system, he said.
