Kakinada: NTR Beach cleared of over 500 kg waste on International Coastal Cleanup Day

Kakinada, Sep 19 (UNI) The Indian Coast Guard's Kakinada unit, in coordination with the district administration and industrial units, removed over 500 kg of plastic and solid waste from NTR Beach here on Saturday as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day. District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad, Superintendent of Police Bindu Madhav, MLC Karri Padmasri and former Kakinada Rural MLA Pilli Anantha Lakshmi participated in the coastal cleanup drive.
