Bihar: Rs 461 crore released for grant-in-aid school staff

Patna, Sep 19 (UNI) The Bihar government has released Rs 461 crore as grant-in-aid for payment of salaries to teachers and non-teaching employees of grant-in-aid schools and colleges, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said on Saturday. In a post on X, Choudhary said the government was working for the welfare of teachers, employees and educational institutions and taking measures to strengthen the education system and promote higher education in the state.
