AP: Highest number of 706 snake bites reported in Srikakulam district: Minister

Vijayawada, Sep 19 (UNI) Srikakulam district recorded the highest number of snakebite cases in Andhra Pradesh between January and August this year, with 706 cases, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav said on Saturday. Releasing wall posters to create awareness about snakebites at his camp office in Mangalagiri on International Snakebite Awareness Day, the Minister said six people had died of snakebites in the state so far this year.
