Valluvanad's bamboo musical heritage to come alive at IDSFFK

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 25 (UNI) The indigenous musical traditions of Valluvanad will come alive at the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK), with Vayali Bamboo Music presenting a special performance on the second day of the festival. Vayali, based in Arangottukara in Thrissur district, brings together Kerala's indigenous folk music and a range of bamboo instruments, seeking to showcase the cultural heritage of the Nila river region through art and music.
