West Bengal Anti-Goonda Bill returned by President; CM Adhikari says state will rework draft

Burdwan, Sep 25 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday said the state would examine the legal provisions and work on a fresh draft of its Anti-Goonda Bill after it was returned by the President without assent. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an administrative meeting in Burdwan, Adhikari said the government would take the next step after studying the relevant legal provisions.
