RPI leader seeks Impartial probe into IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode's Death

Pune, Sep 25 (UNI) Republican Party of India (RPI) state vice-president Dr Hulgesh Chalwadi on Friday called for an impartial investigation into the death of IIT Bombay student Sahil Ravindra Wakode, saying the facts of the case should be established through a fair probe. Expressing concern over the student's death, Chalwadi said it was unfortunate that a young student pursuing higher education at a premier institute died prematurely. Wakode's parents have alleged that their son faced caste-based discrimination and mental harassment.
