Over 6.32 lakh adults appear for ULLAS literacy assessment in Telangana

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) More than 6.32 lakh adults across Telangana appeared for the ULLAS (Understanding Lifelong Learning for All in Society) Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test on Sunday as part of the 'Ammaku Aksharamala' programme. According to SERP officials, around 5.32 lakh women from rural areas and nearly one lakh people from urban areas took the examination. The test was conducted across 124 Urban Local Bodies and areas under GHMC, MMC and CMC jurisdictions, in coordination with the Adult Education Department.
