Fake stock investment scam using names of leading firms: Cyber Police warn

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 22 (UNI) Kerala Cyber Police have warned of organised groups carrying out large-scale fraudulent investment schemes on social media by misusing the names of prominent stock trading companies and creating the impression that investors can earn huge profits through stock market investments. The fraudsters are attracting people by creating AI-generated videos featuring leading personalities from the stock market and heads of reputed companies and using them in advertisements circulated through social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
