Madras HC dismisses former DMK Minister MRK Panneerselvam's discharge plea in corruption case

Chennai, Sep 22 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by Senior DMK Leader and former Tamil Nadu Minister M.R.K.Panneerselvam and his family members seeking discharge from the Rs three crore disproportionate assets case. Mr Justice V Lakshminarayanan dismissed the plea granting an relief to the ex-DMK Minister, while directing that his plea seeking transfer the trial from the Cuddalore Court be placed before the Chief Justice's Bench.
