Congress alleges irregularities in SIR, seeks publication of voter data

Mumbai, Sep 22 ( UNI) Maharashtra Congress president Harshwardhan Sapkal on Tuesday alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state and demanded that the Election Commission publish details of voters identified for deletion constituency-wise and booth-wise. Sapkal led a Congress delegation that met Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer S. Chockalingam in Mumbai to raise concerns over the ongoing electoral roll revision.
