Rs10 lakh or DYFI protest: Vigilance probe sought against CPM councillor in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 3 (UNI) A complaint alleging that CPM councillor Ajin of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation demanded Rs10 lakh from a property owner and threatened to use DYFI workers to put up party flags on the property if the money was not paid has been submitted to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, sources said. Ajin, who represents the Thrikkannapuram ward, allegedly made the demand in connection with a 19-cent property owned by a Peyad resident near MLA Road.
