Washington, Oct 3 (Sputnik/UNI) High prices and the unpopular war with Iran are threatening the Republican hold on the US Congress ahead of the November midterm elections, RIA Novosti found after analysing the latest polls and voter preferences in key electoral districts. Only 26% of US adults approve of President Donald Trump's economic policy, while 17% approve of his handling of the rising cost of living, according to an October 1 poll conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Centre for Public Affairs Research at the University of Chicago (AP-NORC).
