AP: DRI officials seized 3.1 kg gold, USD, Euros, held 5 persons

Vijayawada, Oct 21 (UNI) The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 3.1 kg of Foreign Origin gold, US dollars and Euros worth Rs 5.84 crore here and arrested five persons. The DRI officials said on Wednesday that contraband, smuggled Foreign Origin gold & foreign currency (Sale Proceeds) including 3,147.1 grams of gold, USD 60,000 and Euro 21,500 were seized. The seized gold, USD, Euros were worth Rs. 5.84 crore.
