HVPNL deploys staff, bars leave ahead of three-day Haryana power strike

Panchkula, Oct 21 (UNI) Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) has put contingency arrangements in place, deployed personnel across six transmission circles and barred leave for staff assigned strike duty ahead of a three-day statewide power employees' and engineers' strike from October 22 to 24. The measures follow a strike call by the Haryana Bijli Karamchari Evam Engineers Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha, according to an office order issued with the approval of the managing director.
