Centre's drought teams to fan out across Karnataka from Oct 3

New Delhi, Sept 28 (UNI) The Centre will fan out three teams across drought-hit Karnataka from October 3 to undertake an on-the-spot assessment of crop damage and ground conditions, union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Monday. The teams will conduct the assessment from October 3 to 6 as the Centre begins the process of evaluating the severity of the drought and the assistance required by the state.
