AP: Cong organizes protest demanding sacking of CEC

Vijayawada, Sep 25 (UNI) The Congress activists, led by APCC Vice-president Kolanukonda Shivaji, staged a protest at the Lenin centre here today, demanding that the Centre should sack Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Addressing the media on the occasion, Kolanukonda Shivaji demanded the removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and called for his arrest and prosecution. He demanded an independent inquiry into all alleged irregularities in the electoral process, immediate stoppage of the SIR process, and restoration of the 13 crore votes alleged to have been deleted.
