Three of same family killed, 3 hurtas two cars collide near Namakkal

Chennai, Sep 16 (UNI) Three members of a family--a couple and their son--were killed and an equal number injured in a collision involving two cars near Nallipalayam village on the Salem-Namakkal National Highway in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu in the early hours of Wednesday. Police said the deceased were identified as Karthikkumar (35), his father Selvaraj (60), and his mother Kanthimathi, 55, of Molaipatti village near Pallapatti in Karur district. Karthikkumar was travelling with his parents from Bengaluru to their native Karur district, while another family was travelling from Tiruchendur towards Bengaluru in a car, when the accident occurred.…
