Ruling TVK, AIADMK candidates file papers on last day, filing of nominations for Oct 6 bypoll to two TN seats, ends

Chennai, Sep 16 (UNI) Filing of nominations for the October six Tamil Nadu Assembly by-elections to Madurantakam and Dharapuram seats, which fell vacant following the resignation of Rebel AIADMK MLAs, ended on Wednesday at 1500 hrs. On the last day today, candidates of the ruling TVK and the CPI and CPI-M, which are extending outside support to the TVK government headed by Chief Minister Vijay, besides the Opposition AIADMK, filed their papers before the respective Returning Officers.
